OUR NEW CONDO!!!
When I was around five or six years-old, I had seen something on t.v. about different kinds of homes. I then proceeded to tell my Dad that "When I grow up, I want to live in a condom." He burst into hysterical, high-pitched laughs. When he was able to breath again and wipe away the tears, he informed me that what I meant was a "condominium."
Well, it's all coming true now. As of Wednesday, Brent and I became homeowners! During my spring break in April, I went out to Denver to hunt for teaching positions and houses. I had looked through dozens and dozens of properties online that our wonderful Realtor had sent us. I sifted out the ones not worth looking at and jumped right in. The condo we bought was the very first property I visited in person. I told our Realtor immediately, "Kelly, if everything else sucks today, I'm so happy with this place." The rest is history.
Here's a link to the seller's posting of the place. I love that the theme music is JAZZ!!! Take a peek! Unfortunately, those furnishings are not included!

DaVinci: How much is that kitty in the window?
DaVinci is our little baby, and we just adore him! He has many names, such as The Vinch, Vinci, Cheeto, Cheeters, The Cheet, BaDinci, Little One, Soft One, Tito, Sweets, etc. All must be pronounced with a good Italian dialect, on his request. Though he's been known to steal treats, play with grasshoppers, sleep on our heads, and drink out of baby bottles, he prefers to be remembered by his finer pursuits, such as playing Hamlet at Cambridge, tasting fine wines and cheeses, and reading 17th century metaphysical poetry. He also has his kitty wig powdered twice a year in Vienna. We celebrate his birthday on Christmas, since that's the day he graced us with his presence, and he asks that no gifts be sent on the occasion, just cash. Noi ti amo, DaVinci!

Ogden Marathon
Brent, Jacque, and Alan all ran the Ogden Marathon a few weeks ago. Our camera sucks, so I have terrible action shots, but here are a few nonetheless. I got to watch baby Max while they worked really hard! Brent surprised us all by coming in 10 minutes earlier than expected on his third full marathon. I suppose his Ironman training has results that are surprising even HIM!
Brent's Graduation! April 2008
We were so pleased to have family from both sides visit us and attend Brent's graduation. It was shorter than some, but still not long enough to keep the graduate himself awake! We enjoyed several days of good food, good company, and bad weather. Technically, Brent has not yet graduated! He is currently taking 2 final classes and will get his diploma in August. We still love him!
